A bit about me
With a bachelor’s degree in media design and a minor in art practices, I keep creativity close to my heart. After graduating from the University of Colorado in the beautiful city of Boulder, I took on an art director role at an agency called YEARONE. With hands-on creative work and unique strategies, I was able to explore all aspects of an agency role with a team of wonderful individuals. It was that experience that gave me the confidence to transition into an independent social media manager role.
After managing multiple accounts on Facebook and Instagram for brands ranging from solar-powered fairy lights to self-help books, I decided the social management life just wasn’t what I wanted. I needed something that kept me on my toes and gave me something brand new to do every week, something that would allow me to better connect with my creativity and the wonderful world of small businesses that continue to blossom around me. So with that, I have directed myself deeper into the world of design, crafting beautiful, eye-catching, and nuanced visuals that represent the unique and ever-changing brands and humans behind them, with a focus on crafting never-before-seen brand identities and website experiences.
With every logo suite I craft, copy I write, or content I create, I seek to build a look that is 100% original and exposes the uniqueness of the brand it is made for. Having a background (and obsession) for art has made me treat design just the same, as something not only pleasing to look at but holds meaning behind its visuals. I aim to create not a portfolio of work but a gallery of stunning visual conversation waiting to be admired by those they seek to reach.
When I’m not on Illustrator or Squarespace, you can find me in the woods with my lovely Fiance, in the kitchen baking fresh sourdough, managing one of our other Mammoth-based small businesses (Eastern Sierra Services & Mammoth Junk Removal), or cozied up beside the fire with our dog and cat. I am eager and open to creating new relationships with fellow designers, agencies, and those seeking a design landscape for their new or existing brand. For the time being, we constantly seek inspiration from every aspect of life, we get outside as much as possible, and we look to the brightest moments to push us through the chaos of existence.
What a time to be alive.
Sincerely,
